Abstract

|
Attempts were made to investigate on sterols of Cryptoporus volatus (Pk.) Hubb.. Its carpophores were collected is Gyeong Gi Province and extracted with a mixture of cbloroform and methanol. From the extract eight spots were detected by T.L.C.. One of the spots was identified as ergosterol by T.L.C., G.L.C. and chemical tests.
